Hello, my name is Edison U. Ratio Smart. Sometimes I’m called Ed U. R. Smart. I guess that names fits because I love stretching brains. In fact that is the goal of this blog to help parents, teachers, home schools, students and anyone else learn how to stretch the brains of elementary students.
No, brain stretching does not involve some strange, medieval device. As you will learn, brain stretching is just my way of saying we’ll work on how to teach elementary students thinking skills.
In January we’ll work on deductive thinking skills. We’ll explore what deductive thinking is; characteristics of deductive thinking; games, lessons and activities that promote deductive thinking.
For now, sign in. Introduce yourself. Then wait with baited breath for the first post on deductive thinking.
By the way, my friends call me Ed.
